PS -Microchip dsPIC33EP256MU814- 280 KB.
The board measures 3.57”X 1.76 X 0.188” but does not add to the overall size of an assembled system (the processor board fits within the envelope of the motherboard - the overall height is slightly increased but length and width are not).
Key features include:
Key features include:
- USB On the Go – Implemented on the processor board
- UART – Universal Asynchronous Receiver / Transmitter) – Four channels (two implemented on peripheral headers) for implementation of SCI, IrDA and LIN protocols (TTL level signals, associated peripheral cards required for implementation on some protocols)
- I2C – Inter-Integrated Circuit / Two Wire Interface - Two channels with SMBus support
- SPI – Serial Peripheral Interface – Four channels, two implemented on motherboard peripheral headers
- Timer / Counters – Nine 16-bit and four 32-bit timers
- PWM – Pulse Width Modulation – Seven channel PWMs, including complementary pairs (PWMH / PWML)
- RTC – Real Time Clock with time/calendar capabilities
- ATD – Analog to Digital Converter – Two independent ATD modules, 24 ATD channels total, external reference available
- I2S support available on DPIP headers
- ECAN – Controller Area Network – Two enhanced CAN channels
- SD Card and NAND Flash interface – Via DPIP headers
- General Purpose I/O – 122 total I/O lines; most are reconfigurable, capable of sinking / sourcing 10mA – Select pins are 5 volt tolerant
- Vsupply (processor and peripherals) – 3.3Volts only (as implemented on E3 Embedded PIEP)
- ICD and JTAG-20 debug / programming support – ICD implemented on 6-pin motherboard debug header – Adapter for 6 pin debug to RJ-11 ICD interconnect provided with the processor
